From Apples to Juice

Students and faculty enjoyed a visit from "Johnny Appleseed" and friends. Johnny discussed his journey across the country showing kindness, planting apple trees and demonstrating how apples could be used to make applesauce, apple jelly, apple butter and apple juice. Johnny and his friends used an apple press was used to demonstrate how apples are made into apple juice. Apple juice was then enjoyed by all. We'd like to say a special thanks to Mr. Newberry and the "Apple Dumpling Gang" for sharing the unique story of Johnny and his giving ways. View Highlights:
